Client Accountant

The Beauvoir Group is a trusted provider of bespoke professional services who are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and dynamic person to carry out all accounting duties for a portfolio of clients, ensuring that all the clients’ needs are completed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.

Production of client entity statutory annual accounts, management accounts and other client accounting reports.  Support the client invoicing process and debtor management. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounting transactions. Collect, analyse and interpret accounting records for book-keeping purposes
  • Preparation and filing of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards within the target and standards set
  • Other financial reporting
  • Reconcile bank accounts and accounting records for designated client accounts
  • Accounts payable and creditor management
  • Accurately maintain financial records in Acumen
  • To support client facing colleagues on matters of accounting
  • Update, review and test internal finance procedures
  • Assistance in the preparation of client tax returns
  • Provide assistance to the Group Head of Finance and any other adhoc duties as required

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • At least part-qualified accountant (AAT/ACCA or similar) with support to complete their training
  • At least 3 years’ experience with good knowledge of accounting for trusts, companies and pensions
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Acumen or similar beneficial
  • Strong communication, accounting / analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Work under pressure, independently, effectively prioritise, manage time & workload to meet clients’ needs
  • Proactive, motivated, team player with a flexible attitude to complete additional tasks
